Austerlitz Samuel “rabbi, born. In Vienna in 1870. He studied in several yeshivans and obtained a rabbi’s degree from the yeshivans in Bratislava. He worked in Vienna, Pápa and Somorja. Since 1914 he has been the chief rabbi of the Orthodox community of Miskolc. He is an excellent speaker and the author of several halachic works. ” (Hungarian Jewish Lexicon, p. 70)
